As of Nov. 18, 2025, the Nevada Department of Human Services has an overall vacancy rate of 15.60.%. The Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) has the highest vacancy rate at 23.98% and the Division of Social Services has the lowest vacancy rate at 9.71%.

The department's Social Services and Rehabilitation occupational group represents the highest overall vacancy rate (30.58%), followed by the Medical, Health and Related Services group (26.45%). Together these two groups make more than 57% of the DHS vacancy rate.
